I've been watching Uncle Buck this morning and found out it will be 13 years ago tomorrow that we lost one of the world's greatest entertainers: John Candy.
Just wanted to say "I miss John Candy!"

God bless you, John!
P.S. he was Catholic, too. :)

Myles (whispering): "He's cooking our garbage!"
"You have more hairs in your nose than my dad"
"How nice of you to notice."
"I'm a kid. That's my job."
My favorite parts are anything with his smokey car... *KABLAM!!!*
"Ever hear of a ritual killing? Eheheheheheheee."
And when Shanice kicks the door and it hits him in the head and he goes flying through the air... "OWWWWWWW"

A funny John Candy story: in Super Bowl XXIII, the 49ers were losing to the Bengals with three minutes left in the game, and they had to go 92 yards for a touchdown. They get in the huddle on the first play of the drive, and Joe Montana looks way down to the other end of the field, and says to his teammates, "There, in the stands, standing near the exit ramp. Isn't that John Candy?" The 49ers then drove 92 yards for the game-winning touchdown.

Our Father, who art in Calgary, Bobsled be thy name. Thy kingdom come, gold medals won, on Earth as it is in Turn Seven. With Liberty and Justice for Jamaica and Haile Selassie. Amen.
