This is so strange... I'm sitting here in the library looking up bibliography stuff... and a guy comes up to the reference desk and asks "I've been looking for something, and I can't find it, so it may not exist, but, is there a St Cecilia mass by Handel?" and I nearly jumped when he said that... wow... this IS a secular university after all... I think I've been smiled upon... :)

Btw, I did a quick search of the library on the intarwebs... there is a St Cecilia mass....

My grandmother and greatgrandmother's middle names were Cecilia. Both we church soloists. I've always celebrated her feast day in a special way.

That statue of St. C is just fantastic. I recently visited a church where a replica is in the space where you sit waiting for Confession!
