I keep coming across this website and this order looks beautiful. I wanted to share it with others. They are amazing. :)

Here is an article I found from Catholic Online that I thought was VERY intriguing! It explains the entire significance of their habit, and explains, in more detail, the charism of their order. What a lovely apostolate of service they have. :D I may have to check them out, even though I am called to the Franciscans. I'm sure that a visit would result in an even greater love for the Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart. :D

Here is another from the Archdiocese of Miami, where the order is located:

And last, but certainly not least, a video about the Sisters!

You can find a wealth of information about them on Google by just searching for their order's name. :D

I have a friend in this order, and know a number of priests and seminarians associated with them. They are, indeed, a very beautiful community.

On their video, it shows them praying in English, so I don't think Spanish is required. In my case, that's a good thing because I can't learn Spanish at all. It just doesn't stick! :(

Good thing you didn't grow up there, or you'd have to learn sign language ;)

I went on choir tour to France when I was nine and there were French-speaking toddlers in my host family - I was AMAZED how they could speak French so well, since I was way older and had studied it for a year, but still couldn't ramble like they did :)

It's amazing what you can learn with grace :) You'd learn what you would need to do ministry.

You know what is funny though? If I decide to join the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal, I may have to bring a translator along or just have some one pound it into my skull :getaclue: :fishslap: :bash: :boink: because they have a mission in Honduras. I doubt that I could get away with telling my superior that I can't go because I don't know the native language! (St. Francis would be so peeved with me. :lol_roll: )
