On either July 1st or 2nd, 2009, Sr. Anne Marie of the Carmelite Sisters of the Divine Heart of Jesus in Milwaukee, WI will trade her white novice veil for the black veil of a professed Sister. She will be making her first profession of vows! :) Right now, the Sisters are on an annual retreat.
July 2nd is a day of celebration in the Carmelites' convents because on July 2nd, 1891, Mother Foundress saw in a dream the congregation she was to establish--the Carmel of the Divine Heart of Jesus.
Sr. Paula Maria, DCJ, told me that the Sisters will post a few pictures on their website of the profession ceremony. When they do, I'll post them here so you all can see them. :))
Here's her vocation story, for anyone who is interested, and a picture of her as a novice:

Please keep her in your prayers! :)

Sister Anne Marie, has now professed her First Vows as a Carmelite Sister of the Divine Heart of Jesus. Her day was filled with much joy alongside all the other sisters who renewed their vows. Please keep her and the other young women in formation that our Lord will grant them many blessings and the grace of Final Perseverance.
