Lord Jesus,
as you once called
those whom you loved,
continue to call
many among us
to work for you and with you.
As your word guided
those whom you called,
enlighten the path
you want us to follow.
You helped your disciples
in their difficulties,
help us to conquer our own.
And if you should call
some of us to be completely
consecrated to you,
may the warmth of your love
ease the demands of such a
call. Amen.
