What order/dioceses do u want to enter. Also give it another 5 or 6 years because of your age....
Just tell them your interested in your religion and think God might even be calling you to the priesthood. Tell them it would be a gift to the family to have a priest within. If you have brothers and sisters, tell them not to worry then about grandchildren either sicne if they dont' become consecrated they most likely will get married.

I just want to put in a major plug for the Institute of Christ the King
http://www.institute-christ-king.org/SSPX is in schism... I would beg you not to join their Order. But the Church is in full support of vocations to the FSSP and the ICK.

Hmmmm, prayers for you. I don't know what to say. We don't really have the same variety of for men wanting to become priests in NZ, which means we don't have the same problems of orders to pick, unless of course, God calls us overseas. (Like ....me!)

first i think that you should tell your parents that you are considering it. u are still quite young; i would reflect, pray over it, speak w/ your spiritual director or confessor. Give it some time to ruminate.

Since the FSSP was created for Priests who want to celebrate the traditional latin Mass, you would learn how to celebrate that first and foremost. But that doesnt rule out the possibility of having to learn how to also celebrate the Novus Ordo at one point in your life, since that is the normal Mass. But you probably wouldnt celebrate it more than once or twice, and only for a very special reason.

Not to mention, celebrating the NO occasionally might be a cross God is calling you to in the priesthood.
