So who else here has done it?
I have it is wonderful.
It is found in True Devotion to Mary by St. Louis Marie Montfort. But there are books that do present just the formula. I would recommend it to anyone.

Everybody in my household at Steubenville made the Montfort Consecration. It's pretty cool!

I was going to but I ended up doing the Kolbean Consecration instead.
Different but the same. Sort of.

I'm down with De Montfort and Kolbean consecration. I like doing the Kolbean consecration regularly, and the long form of the De Montfort consecration on solemn occassions.
God bless you.

I did it last year on December 8th, which is why I'm entering OLAM on December 8th this year. Right now I'm renewing it on the Feast of the Archangels, and I'm simultaneously doing the Kolbean Consecration to enrich my relationship with Mary (because I had a hard time continuing the devotion after I made the Consecration last year).

There's a Kolbean Consecration?

How come I've never heard of this?

The Montfort Consecration is like a 33 day thing. Basically the formula is 12 day preparation, then three more succesive weeks, each with a different theme. The first 12 days is themed the Spirit of the World. And it has to do with freedom of. The first week after that is Knowledge of Self. The next week is the Knowledge of Mary. The final Week is knowledge of Jesus. It is kind of an ascending pattern, one leads to the other. It is somewhat logical.
I made my total consecration on dec. 8 (mostly because that was the soonest that i could do it after finding it out.) But oh well, i guess that is the way God wanted it for me. A friend of mine did hers on her birthday, which is also the feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel (and she feels drawn to Carmelite spirituality.
I am not familiar with the Kolbean consecration. I was hoping someone could fill me in.

The Kolbean is very similar to the DeMontfort, but I think it's really adapted to the way Saint Max viewed his relationship with the Immaculata. I just started so I don't know much about it yet.
Hey, did you make your consecration DeMontfort on December 8, 2004? That's when I made mine.

I did it by myself many years ago without knowing about the whole preparation period, and then I did it through school, again without actually reading the book. I really am planning to read the book, though!
