I have been regularly attending a prayer group for girls at my local Carmelite Monastery. I always come home happy and chatty (and sometimes giggly.) I've also given a presentation to the Sisters about a summer school I went to earlier this year.

Anyway, most of you know that my parents do not realise I am discerning religious life.

This evening, God graced me with an opporunity to just have a fairly general chat with my mum about religious life....the best thing is.....

She would be happy if I became a nun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If its what God is calling me too, she will support it!!!! and......she thinks the contemplative life is beautiful, and defended it in front of my brother!!!!

Praise God for these small joys!!!!!!!

Hehehe, I am so happy about it. I was told that when I talked to my parents, that it'd be a weight off my heart, and it truly is. Thanks everyone for their prayers (especially if you've been watching my slow progress up to this point!)
