i think that would depend where you live. There are a bunch around here and in the cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul).
Maybe check your diocesan calendar or somethinf of the like.

if you find one, some things to consider
1. i am not discerning. i am married
2. i need a break - i'm stressed out to the max and i need a spiritual lift
3. i would prefer it be a week long retreat
4. i'm in the western part of the US, so it would be nice not to have to travel a couple days to get to the retreat
thank you so much everyone for your help! may God bless you abundantly!

Red, you are always welcome to go on retreat at the Community of St. John in IL. They do private retreats. I don't know of any scheduled ones coming up, with the exception of one around Easter. Let me know if you want me to check dates etc...

yeah it really is gorgeous! the brothers chapel is like heaven on earth, especially during the Mass. the facilities are nice and even though the weather doesnt always cooperate, its impossible to not have a great time there. oh! the chapel inside the retreat house has Christ in it all the time! it's wonderful. and they have the most beautiful stain glass in there. i could go on and on about that place!
the sisters live right across the street and they are SO sweet! they let us come over for adoration with them once while we were down there. that was an awesome experience.

The Carmelites in Alhambra are a very, very solid convent. I'm discerning with them and I go to see them once a month. I've helped out at their retreats and met a couple of priests, or just heard their names...solid priests come to speak as well. They're generally silent retreats during the weekends. And you can make arrangements to come and just have a retreat for yourself on the grounds--the first time I went, an elderly nun was having her own private retreat. You can even join the sisters for their prayers, which is beautiful--they chant the office and it's gorgeous (except they tend to go flat--it's hard to sing one note for so long). If that's in the area, I'd definitely recommend it

) And you're of course welcome to join them for classes, prayer, etc while you're there. And of course I'd have to come up to meet you
