In a previous thread, I mentioned two steps. Step One was contacting the Vocations director and also telling my mother I want to go to college in MInnesota.
Step Two... I hinted towards the priesthood tonight, hopefully she takes a good hint. She loves her new boyfriend, and they have a lot in common and I could see him as my stepfather. He loves my mother and treats her so nice unlike her last boyfriend. Tonight I told her that she had to wait til 2015 to get married, and she said, "So you can marry us" and I"m like well yes of course!
Anyways I am meeting with the vocations director is as productive as I hope it will be, then it might be possible I will begin paper work for the college seminary soon. We shall see. Hopefully I will get sent to Minnesota, it is closer, and all the semmies from the diocese whom I talked with said they hoped they send me there as it is much different than any other college seminary we send guys to. The fact that the seminarians live in a seminary but yet attend classes on a University campus is unique. So we shall see as I will bring this up Sunday.
Yours in Christ,
Eddy

Prayers for you!
The whole "live in a seminary go to classes in a university" is what I'll do. They might be changing that soon though.

I am a college seminarian. It a full seminary (not a house of formation style one) so we live and go to class here, I love the set up. I would imagine it would be must harder to discern at a seminary where I had to go out to a University everyday. Something about spending almost everyday (all but 2) on campus with just other seminarians and priest makes for a great life of discernment and prayer.
God Bless
