Why does the Vatican have no documents specifically about apostolic life?

Dearest Zun,
I'm not exactly sure what you would like to know about "apostolic life". If you are looking for the canonical status, its meaning and implications, rights and obligations, I recommend you consult the Commentary on the Code of Canon Law, Book II, Part III, Sections 1, Titles 1ff. -- Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life. The language and discussion, of course, might be too much for you for its legal and jurisprudential technicalities and undertones. You may want to consult a Religious Bookstores for some books on Societies of Apostolic Life in Layman's Language. Book II of the Code of Canon Law is the MOST diverse, comprehensive, bulky and, honestly, most difficult Book in the whole Code to really understand. Why? Because the Institutes of consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life are the most complex of all association and groupings of people in our Church. So, goodluck and pray for the Wisdom of Solomon!
Paix,
Mel
