We all have enemies those astray, scared followers, actually we have an enemy right. He tires to tempt us into the bad, which I’m sure we all have experienced somewhere in our lifetime. I can’t think of one person who hasn’t been tempted into something, if we didn’t ever sin then we would be perfect like our Lord and Mary, were not perfect the only thing we have to claim for ourselves is sin. That’s it, the rest comes from God – our talents, hobbies, our desire, our goodness and good deeds, everything BUT sin, comes from God. We are His instrument to be used in His own way. So why then do we fear men? Maybe it’s because that’s the natural reaction of our body released in us. How do we know though if its really, “scary” if we don’t take the time to look and see what we are doing and what were getting ourselves into. If we looked carefully enough and realized without God we will never be saved, if we stopped to even think about what we are doing and if what we are doing is wrong; the world would be a much better place even after Adam and Eve. What are we so afraid of then that holds us back to take that one moment to just look. God loves us, He will never abandon us, He died for our sins, for us on the cross. What reason is there to fear if our Lord is always there to protect us? Lets hold the waiting hand of our Lord and step out of the darkness and stand for what is right. If you’re ever afraid for whatever reason, repeatedly say the Our Father, He is our Father in heaven who will come for us in the nick of time when we are in peril. Our Lord over powers the darkness – we just have to choose, choose rightly and the Lord shall protect you.
