Since there are quite a few St. Louisans on this board, I thought I'd share this little announcement. We're doing a day of Eucharistic Adoration for Vocations in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel at the Cathedral Basilica, Friday, 6/23 (Feast of the Sacred Heart). Here's the general schedule:

8:00 am Mass in the main church
8:30 am Exposition & Act of Consecration to the Sacred Heart
9:00 am Joyous Mysteries of the Rosary
10:00 am Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary
11:00 am Confessions avaliable until noon
noon Angelus
12:05 pm Mass in the main church (Blessed Sacrament will be reposed during this time and exposed at the conclusion of Mass)
1:00 pm Prayers for Vocations
2:00 pm Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary
3:00 pm Divine Mercy Chaplet
4:00 pm Glorious Mysteris of the Rosary
4:30 pm Litany of the Sacred Heart & Benediction

I invite y'all to come out and join us for any part of the day...or if you are unable to, to pray in a special way for vocations on Friday.

I have to work, but hope to step in for the 1:00 p.m. prayers that day.

It was funny because Jessie emailed the flier to the guy in charge of Communion and Liberation in St. Louis, and he forwarded her email to me in case I'd be interested in going. I'm still trying to figure out what time my daycamp orientation is on Friday, and hopefully I can stop in since the Cathedral isn't too far away.

I will be there...for a little while at least.
