Mother of the Church, may many workers be added to the service of your Son's Church... O, Mary, intercede for us!

Lady of Mercy, enlighten our minds so we my respond to our responsibility as parents to foster vocations in our own homes... O, Mary, intercede for us!

Queen of Heaven, help our young to follow your Son's footsteps... O, Mary, intercede for us!

Blessed Mother, open our hearts and minds to love our priests and religious, to recognize their humanness and their needs as we do our own... O, Mary, intercede for us!

Lay your most sacred Holy hand upon this unknown Huge Special intention as to whatever it may be that it may be fulfilled with pure grace and extrodinary blessings. Today O God your daugters rejoice in the name of your Son, as they are excited and anticipated with pure joy as they will become tonight your Son's betrothed! May they be filled with love, grace, and blessings, and be reminded to carry out your Holy will. Prayer of the Holy Father, John Paul II

Holy Father, look upon this humanity of ours,
that is taking its first steps along the path of the Third Millennium.
Its life is still deeply marked
by hatred,violence and oppression,
but the thirst for justice, truth and grace
still finds a space in the hearts of many people,
who are waiting for someone to bring salvation,
enacted by You through Your Son Jesus.
There is the need for courageous heralds of the Gospel,
for generous servants of suffering humanity.
Send holy priests to Your Church, we pray,
who may sanctify Your people
with the tools of Your grace.
Send numerous consecrated men and women,

O, God of our journeys,
give me the grace I need to
be open to the path
you have set for my life.

All of these prayer are SO beautiful!! I was really anxious over my vocation (whether to be a sister or not) one day and I found this prayer on the back of a crumpled prayer card with a lovely picture of Mary on it. It really put me at ease and has since helped me tremendously.
Here it is:

Jesus, I want to follow you and give you my life. Help me to know my purpose in life and how I can best serve you. Please give me the courage to follow your plan in my life, whether it is a call to marriage, priesthood, religious life, or celibacy for the sake of your Kingdom.
IF I do hear your call to be a priest or religious, send the Holy Spirit to give me the strength to do your will.
I ask you to bless my parents and help them accept my vocation.
May your name be praised now and forever.
AMEN!!

I wrote this a minute ago, I know it's random and doesn't exactly stick to one subject, but He listens to all we have to say

Oh my Jesus I am short for words. My weak words are nothing to describe my desires and burning love for you. I wish to be your servant. Oh my Jesus I wish to give you my everything, I wish to give you all that I am, my whole being, I wish to give you my actions, my thoughts, my desires, my body, my soul, my mind, speak through me oh Jesus, that I may spread your glory. Oh my Sweet Jesus, I know when You were on the cross You felt my punishments, and You had yet still a plan for me. I am not worthy to recieve You, to speak to You, yet I aproach you with complete confidence in your infinite Mercy. If it be Your will oh Jesus, make Your perfect plan for me, clear to me, so that I may ever serve you in complete and total devotion. Oh my Lord I wish to do Your will and Your will alone, teach me how to love you, let me know what it is You wish of me. And I will do it. For I trust in Your sacred heart above all things, I trust like a little child. Guide me oh Lord, through the dark.

thanks daddy, and sisterali I love that litany! It's so beautiful. The blessed Virgin is a wonderful intercesor for vocations and graces indeed & I have a card with that St. Francis prayer on it.
