Thanks, but I don't think it is. The Sisters of Life have a black mantle, scapular, and trim. The picture has a white scapular and really appears to be blue mantle and trim. So...any other ideas?

I have a friend, who is there as a postulant right now! Her name is Mary bigpray.gif I just got a letter from her and she loves it!

hmm ... possibly the Sisters of Life have both a black mantle and a dark blue mantle, as I looked them up on an image search and see some of them are a dark/navy blue.

Hmmm! You're right, that definitely looks blue -I think it's the lighting... but that still doesn't explain the white scapular. So, idontknow.gif

Plus, I don't think she had a medal...

I think that was a Sr. of Life, I think the angle of the camera + the way she is holding her arm blocks out the scapular.

It is so cool to see all those totally vibrant and orthadox orders all in one place!

Maybe you're both right after all! lol.gif I was so excited about the idea of another community with a beautiful habit that I didn't know about, I was really hoping it wasn't. Oh, well! saint.gif

I've spent time witht he Sisters of Life and it is definitly blue

Nope...definately the sister that you're referring to is a Sister of Life. They have dark blue mantles & scapulars (though the darkness I think depends on how many times it's been washed!) smile.gif

Okay! I stand corrected! All this time (even in person), I thought it was black! blush.gif I love that it's blue, though! I LOVE blue habits.
