Who has read this book? What are your thoughts?

Anyone who has not: I would encourage you to get a copy and read it! It's VERY good. Regardless of where you feel called, the material contained in this book by Father Andrew Apostoli is helpful to everyone.

I have read this book. When you live a celibate life, you read what you can get on the subject. Although I have ignored this book constantly on the shelf P.gif

Now, I think it is a very helpful book because you are given some real facts and reflections about the charism and of the call to celibacy. My past experience has found that a discussion on celibacy can become so spiritual it doesn't seem real. This books cuts through this problem and discussion is grounded in some real concerns, challenges and beauty of the celibate life.

When I was talking with Father Andrew he mentioned his desire to write ANOTHER book on celibacy - this time dealing with the real theology of it. (I believe that's what he said. My memory often fails me.) I'm very excited for that book as well. The man is so wise.
