Not sure if these are who you are speaking of:
http://www.oksister.com/ they seem like a very nice community indeed.
There is also the Carmelites out in Alahambra California who are in full habit and teach.
Hope this helps,

The Carmelites of the Divine Heart of Jesus have a Child Development Center here in town. Is that the "teaching" you're thinking of? idontknow.gif

DCJ aren't a teaching order, from what a friend of mine told me. You want to go with the Carmelites in Alhambra. hehehe, Mel, you look good in brown... ;D

Erm... DCJ are the Alhambra Carmelites aren't they?

Nope. . .DCJ are the Carmelites of the Divine Heart of Jesus. They are located, among other places, in San Diego, Canada, St Louis. The Carmelites of the SACRED Heart of Jesus are the Alhambra Carmelites.

The DCJ are the Carmelites of Divine Heart of Jesus located in Missouri, other countries, Wisconsin, Texas, and Canada......the Alhambra Carmelites aren't the same or connected with the DCJ.

The DCJ's aren't a teaching order, but some of them are involved in schools, as a kind of wholly over-educated classroom assistants smile.gif

They want to be mothers of, well, everyone.
