You seem like such a nice group of people on this phatmass phorum. It took me awhile to figure out how to do this but I seem to be creating a message here!!!!
I have been an IHM sister for the past 10 years. If anyone has any discernment questions I'd be happy to try to help out. I've been around long enough to have gathered some wisdom and yet I remember well what it was like....

I am a convert to Catholicism and entered our IHM community three years after converting. It was a pretty powerful experience of God's Hand in my life.

Since entering our community I have taught 4-8 grades in different schools. Currently I teach 6 grade in Reading, PA. However, it's not about the ministry so much as it is about bringing people closer to God and savoring the solitude of our life and consecration.

I am in awe of the number of people discerning a religious vocation. You all affirm my decision and give me great hope for our future. We would love to have you check out our community. The website is nice but a visit to our Mother House would do us justice.

i have so many questions but i don't quite know where to begin!! i'm still trying to find a spiritual director. maybe the chaplin at my college next year would be willing to take the job on.....
