Does anybody know if there are any orders with an American or European presence that also have missions in China? I looked around a couple months ago, but I couldn't find any congregations that are there currently.

The Tutzing Benedictines have houses in both the USA and Europe as well as a small community in China. For obvious reasons not much information is given on their website, but it's worth a look.

PP is correct; in the USA, they are known as the Missionary Benedictine Sisters, located in Nebraska.

The Holy Spirit Missionary Sisters are an international missionary congregation, but i'm not sure if they have missions in china. http://www.worldssps.org/

The American province of the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus has a mission convent in Taiwan. They currently teach in a Catholic elementary school in Kaohsing.

I know one of the sisters who was there for three years! She misses it.
