I did some work in undergrad admissions (
shameless plug), and now I do work in graduate admissions (
shameless plug #2). Some "conservative" Catholic (and otherwise) colleges
are not accredited by an outside organization. This information isn't usually in the information they advertize widely... you have to be a detective an look around for it. They may be authorized by a commission of higher education, but that's not the same as accreditation.
