Full Version: Has Anyone Seen These Sisters?

When I was at the vigil before the pro-life march in DC a few weeks ago, I saw a group of Sisters that I had never seen before.
They wore white habits and veils, as well as a blue (not sky blue, but a lighter color blue) cloak.
There were only a few of them, and if you were at the vigil, they were sitting near the Missionaries of Charity.
Has anyone seen these Sisters/have more information about them? There were only 3 or 4 of them, which makes me wonder if they were a newer order, but that may not necessarily be the case...
Thanks!

Blessed Imelda Pray for Us
Actually--- if the 'cloak' (scapular?) was lighter than sky blue it wouldn't have been the Sisters of Life, as their blue is more navy. I've only met one order that wore white and light blue...DMML..Daughters of Mary Mother of Healing Love (I think?) But I don't believe they were at the March...but I could be wrong. I guess the big question is what color veil? The Sisters of Life have white and the DMML have the same light blue color as their scapular.

The Sisters of Charity felt it necessary to withdraw from St. Charles Place. After a period of intense prayer, discernment and consultation, four Sisters (becoming Daughters of Mary Mother of Healing Love),obtained permission from Rome to separate from the Sisters of Charity to form a new private Association dedicated to the healing and care of children who have been removed from their families of origin.

The Daughters of Mary Mother of Healing Love work with both the children and families with the hopes of reunification. This is sometimes not possible and the children remain at the home until another permanent placement can be found.
Daughters of Mary of Healing Love, whom would be more likely sitting with the Missionaries of Charity cause there is some historical connection there..

Nope, It was neither order.
I know the Sisters of Life very well, (I see them about once a month, actually...) and I'm vaguely familiar with the Daughters of Mary, Mother of Healing Love.
These Sisters wore an all white tunic with an all white veil(no band or anything...), and I believe a white scapular as well. The cloak they wore was not like the Sisters of Life's short cape (I'm not sure that's what it is called...). It was more akin to the Carmelite's tan cloak (is it called a mantle?) that they wear in prayer, except that theirs was light blue.
If anyone has any idea, let me know! Thanks so much!
God bless!

Little Sisters of the Poor?

Nope, I know the Little Sisters of the poor. They don't wear a mantle..... and their "winter" habit is black with a grey veil, not all white....

Intercessors of the Lamb? They wear teal.

Nope. I know them too (well, I knew one of their brothers). I also don't think they were at the March.

Thank you so much Phamily for all of your help anyway.
