When I was at the vigil before the pro-life march in DC a few weeks ago, I saw a group of Sisters that I had never seen before.
They wore white habits and veils, as well as a blue (not sky blue, but a lighter color blue) cloak.
There were only a few of them, and if you were at the vigil, they were sitting near the Missionaries of Charity.
Has anyone seen these Sisters/have more information about them? There were only 3 or 4 of them, which makes me wonder if they were a newer order, but that may not necessarily be the case...
Thanks!
Pace e Bene,
Lauren

The Sisters of Charity felt it necessary to withdraw from St. Charles Place. After a period of intense prayer, discernment and consultation, four Sisters (becoming Daughters of Mary Mother of Healing Love),obtained permission from Rome to separate from the Sisters of Charity to form a new private Association dedicated to the healing and care of children who have been removed from their families of origin.
The Daughters of Mary Mother of Healing Love work with both the children and families with the hopes of reunification. This is sometimes not possible and the children remain at the home until another permanent placement can be found.
Daughters of Mary of Healing Love, whom would be more likely sitting with the Missionaries of Charity cause there is some historical connection there..
