Did anyone else see that!? The Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist was on the news last nite! There was a segment about the rise in vocations to the religious life. I don't remember what it was on...my dad just called me into the living room and was like "you're on TV!"

they don't know how serious i am about discerning, so after i watched it, i casually said "i would be SO thrilled if God called me to be a nun!" and then i was like "i'd love it if He called me to be a mother and a wife, too!" then my dad goes, "you should try squirrel hunting for a while...pocket some money until you make up your mind."

My friends who arent really friends, but I consider everyone my friend, were like today in English Class, "OH! I thought about you, there were nuns on the TV lastnight."

I burst out laughing!!!! I got that several times today, I responded, "yep...thats my community."

i got home from church last night, and a guy friend of mine texted me... asking if i saw that on the news! thank you for posting that... I am really glad i got to see it! it makes me happy
