From the St. Louis Review, our local Catholic newspaper:

Saturday, June 9, the Daughters of St. Paul will host an open house at their bookstore/chapel from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The location is 9804 Watson Rd. in the suburb of Crestwood.
The DSP's relocated their postulancy to St. Louis last year. The three current postulants will be available to talk to people about their experiences in formation. There will also be a tour of the book center and the postulants' study area. The event will conclude with evening prayer at 8:15 p.m. with the sisters in their chapel.

Recently I discovered that there are Daughters of St Paul in England! This came as a surprise to me. I may even have seen some of them, but as they don't wear habits in this country it's hard to be sure.

And there is some in Rome.

I wish I could go, but thats is to closeknit in my docket, haha, school gets out two days before that. Unless...if someone drove me, I could, haha.

Wow I didn't know they had moved the postulants to St. Louis!

They are everywhere. Saint Louis, Chicago, Boston, alot of places.

Oh yes, I know! But their postulant formation used to take place at the motherhouse in Boston Now they have moved it to St. Louis, apparently

The FSP are kewl....however I'm surprised they have the room to have the postulants there for their formation....neat idea but i would generally expect to find postulants at the Mother house! I visted the FSP in St. Louis yrs ago.....more than i can count...and their house was small even for the 7 or 8 that were there...but who knows...they could always seem to find ways to house people!

I am curious as to why they moved to St. Louis they had more than enough room in Boston.

I just e-mailed an FSP sister I know, so perhaps we'll have an answer soon.
