...that there are a few ladies here headed up to Michigan to hang out with Sister Maria in Iron Mountain this summer. I was curious as to who they might be, as I am one of those few!

Sister Maria (sismaria here on phatmass) is a Missionary of the Liturgy. Her convent is up in Iron Mountain, MI and she is hosting a few young women to live and work there to work off loans and debt this summer.

Great!! ! I was wondering if anyone responded to her plea for help. This sounds like such a worth while endeavor, and I am so happy that so many of you have gone to check things out!! I should come and visit all of you! My grandparents live in Iron Mountain and it is about a 2 hr drive from the house I think, not entirely certain.

Hello from the UP (Upper Pennisula)!!! I just wanted to say hello too, and do indeed keep us in your prayers. There are so many beautiful things happening up here and all being done in God's beautiful hands. I hope all is well with you!

These helpers are great and they seem to be having fun while we are doing things to spread the Good News. Let me know if anyone else would like to come to the U.P. to help. I'm happy to give a stipend to help with college or with loans.
