I remember these sisters from the book,Convent Life by Jeanne Lescaux.I looked it up at barnes and Nobles in the used book section,and some dealer was selling it for $50.00.You can get it on an interlibrary loan for free.There a quite a few of the smaller communities like the Marian Sisters listed in the book still around.

I know a few Sisters from this order personally. They are a great community and do lots of great active work!

I know the Marian Sisters. Their convent is located in Waverly, Nebraska (little outside of Lincoln). The sister in the slide show is Sr. Karen Marie Wilson. I actually know her quite well. Her sister is one of my good friends. I had class with Sr. Karen Marie and her sister. This I'm assuming was at her final vows this past May I believe.
