What, if any personal electronic devices are you allowed to bring with you when you enter your formation houses? For example, iPod, Laptop, Radio, Cell Phone. Any thing like that...

It's up to the individual community. You need to ask your vocation directress.

Oh, I know that, I already asked my VD. I was just curious what the other orders other than the Salesians were allowed to bring. And i am going into the seminary not a convent cool.gif

That is awesome, SISTER ADAM. hahahahah

Well, I suppose you don't want me to answer, but I can bring my laptop and if I had a music player (iPod or whatever) I could bring that. I'm also bringing my Digital Camera and my clock/radio, because I cannot stand to wake up to that screeching alarm sound.

I was allowed a portable compact disk player (with headphones) when I entered (and a tape player, which I made more use of than the cd player since Mother's old lessons were on tape and not CD, and the music we were allowed to listen to was very limited). Then my dad gave me an iPod, and they allowed that, too. We had to be able to hide the headphones under our veils, so we had to use "ear buds" instead of the big, bulky things.

Haha, when my youth minister was a Dominican sister she got into trouble constantly for listening to her music player.
