Hey everyone! I haven't really posted on here much; my computer crashed and well....no more internet. I have been working to pay down my student loans and I also visited the Georgetown Visitation sisters. They weren't the community for me, but they are great and y'all should look into them. The good news is that I am entering the pre-postulancy of the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on August 22nd!!! The pre-postulancy is a 3 month period where you continue to discern before asking to be admitted to the postulancy.

If all goes well I'll come home from CT in November, stay for Thanksgiving and then start postulancy in December. My vocation is truly a testament to God's grace! I thought I was going to have to work for another year to pay my loans, but I realized that Christ was calling me NOW. Please pray for my family, they are having a hard time with all this. Also pray for the other young woman who is entering with me.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow! This is a wonderful community, and here in St. Louis we are very blessed with their presence. I have gone to school with a few of your sisters-to-be as well! Sr. Lany Jo does youth ministry work in CT. She's a HOOT!

That's great to hear--what a fine order the ASCJ's are! I know they are here in St. Louis, and also know of them from where I grew up in Pennsylvania. Do they still operate a home/school for kids with developmental delays there?

Thanks for the support everyone! It means so much to be because my entrance has happened kinda fast. I went from having to wait at least 10 months to waiting a matter of weeks!



She is Mother Clelia Merloni, the foundress of the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus! She was an amazing woman!


Yes, the school is called Clelian Heights and it is in Greensburg, PA.

oh, and please pray for Susan and Michelle, the two postulants who will enter the novitiate on the 27th. They are on their 6 day retreat and are very excited about becoming novices!
