A good video. My first experience of any form of monasticism is when I visited the trappist monastery that used to be on the south end of Winnipeg. I was an anglican choirboy, and the monks had invited us choirboys over for vespers and an informal talk one evening. I was impressed by the stark simplicity of their church. I also remember one line that one of the monks said. He had been describing the monastic life they lead,, with emphasis on their silence. One of the boys asked "how do you communicate if you aren't allowed to talk most of the time?" The monk smiled and said "there are ways of getting your point across without using words!"
haha, great!..
