I like to visit the website of the Carmelite Monks of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and in doing so the other day, I discovered that it had been completely re-modeled, if you will.
There is a lot more description on the life of the monks, and it is very beautiful. I re-read the entire website at least once a day, and - oh words cannot describe it.
In fact, this past Sunday, after going through their entire revamped website for the first time, I went to Mass and found that the first reading mentioned Carmel ("The glory of Lebanon will be given to them, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon;..." Is 35:2), the second reading called for patience ("Be patient, brothers and sisters,..." Jas 5:7), and the Gospel of that Sunday, I noticed, had been quoted on their website, and I recognized this immediately. I wonder what the Lord could be leading at?
There are also a lot more pictures - beautiful ones of the monks in prayer and of the place they hope to occupy in the future.
What a beautiful community. I truly wish I could visit them one day. I have to say, I am a huge fan of Carmel.
