I already posted this in the prayers forum, but it would give me great solace to know that you, my vocation station phamily, are also praying for me.

Tomorrow Jan 10, I am sitting the GRE. I need at least a 1200 (out of 1600) to be able to afford the schools I want to go to. Please pray that, above all, the Lord's will be done.

Also, more importantly, a week from today I am going to visit a convent. I'd rather not say for now, but I am very excited and also nervous about it. The order was recommended by my SD and after much prayer, I have decided to take the leap and go visit. The visit involves a flight, which has been difficult logistically. Please pray for my parents, also.

I am trying to follow the Lord's will and not be afraid. Thank you all in advance for your prayers, and know that you are in mine.

i am late in going to bed , thought i would check in, and thus late in beginning Compline, be assured now of my Prayers for you tonite, and at The Holy Sacrifice tomorrow, for the grace to yearn for, hear ,know and then do Gods holy will, and for all that is needed despite oneself, for this to be accomplished in peace beyond understanding.

I recently came across a verse from the Book of Nehemiah (it's stamped on the back of a bracelet that I bought for a friend). "The joy of the Lord is your strength." I plan on meditating on that before anything daunting - e.g. exams and convent visits - from now on.

Just a little update... My test went really great! I've already got my score, and it's much better than I expected, which is wonderful. Thank you all so much for your prayers. I could really feel them with me. Now on to the next big thing!!

Another update: I head to the convent tomorrow. I'm a bit nervous, but I am just trying to remain at peace in the knowledge that God has gotten me this far and has made everything work perfectly to this point. I know that a decision made in prayer is the right one, but I still can't help but be nervous (especially about flying halfway across the country without my family and most of my friends knowing...)
We'll see what God has in store!
