I beg to differ. We're already looking at Bridesmaids dresses and Azaelia has bought her gown. She also has picked out the place where the reception is going to be and has successfully gotten our bishop to agree to do the ceremony.

On the upside, it's good to know that Azaelia is making progress. I had a year and a half to plan my wedding. I did a bunch of stuff early on and then let a bunch of it wait till closer to the date (preparing invitations, etc.) If you put it off TOO long it can pile up on you last minute and then you're scrambling to get stuff done. Who needs all that stress?

Sorry, it's just when I hear "I beg to differ" it's usually being used by someone who is being contrary. Seemed kind of an odd place to be using the phrase. I guess I just would have phrased it differently.

Woah...I didn't know we still had a thread! Shows how much I pay attention

Yeah, the Bish is my peep (we tight) He knows our family because we're parishoners at the Cathedral in Portland, and he knows me specifically because he came to Franciscan to give a Catechetics talk and I just happen to be a Catechetics major. He actually moved his schedule around to accomodate us!

So yeah, I have my gown (if you wanna see, PM me ), my Bridesmaids have their gowns, we bought the invitations, reserved the reception site and the Cathedral, my good friend is going to bake the cake, another good friend (and a fellow Phatmasser, jiyoung) is going to sing, my Maid of Honor is going to take engagement photos for our save-the-dates, and we've pretty much picked out all our music and ceremony details (still have to run them by the Bish, though). I think I started planning as soon as we got engaged and have been going non-stop ever since!

As for concelebrating priests, I really wanna ask Father Paul (the priest who married Luthien and L_D), and Nick is going to ask his priest, although I doubt he'd be able to make it.
