Also, what's up with the lack of love people are showing the artists? I mean.. okay so you don't like hip hop, fine, but at least give some support. Give them some encouragement like: "Keep doing the good work for God!" or SOMETHING....

We have artists giving out stuff for free... doing work.. HOURS of work who have families and people just look at their posts and move on to the Lame Board or "what are you listening to now" and post about other groups.

All that is good, but if you want Catholic hip hop to die, then just continue ignoring the artists that are out there trying to do it and it will die.

Hey, maybe some of you WANT Catholic hip hop to die... shoot i've had priests and others give me a problem because I was doing Catholic hip hop... some calling it evil, etc. THat i can deal with, but when i see people with so much talent like DJ 86 put out a mix tape and get hardly any comments back is just sad...

I agree. I mean a bunch of artists have come through here looking for a little support and get one or two reply's if their lucky. If you don't like the music or the artist thats cool, nothing wrong with that at all, but let them know what you don't like about it.

Maybe it wil die away..who knows, but hey we gave it a shot right?

that's probably one of his worst songs. Listen to his "the Cool" album. He's one of the most lyrical conscience rappers out right now. To add to that, he's a devout Muslim and doesn't drink, smoke, or believe in sex before marriage.

So, no one posted in the hip-hop forums...maybe make a smaller one that didn't take up space (if space was the problem)? Or just a small section for those that (do) dig the Catholic Hip-Hop scene?
As you all can tell, I'm new on the Phorums but, I'd like to see the Catholic Emcees get more support, they've all got some hot stuff to share.
We need to spread the Gospel, and (Catholic) hip-hop is one way of doing it, and I'm sure most of you all would agree.

So instead of "Hip Hop is dead and in purgatory" go with "Hip Hop is resurrected and and about to ascend into heaven."
