Hey! I just realized that I never really introduced myself. Sorry about that. So, Hi. I am fourteen years old and am almost completely sure of my religious vocation, and I think its with the Nashville Dominicans. I guess I 'll be spending most of my time at Phatmass on Vocation Station, because a lot of what you guys have posted has really helped me. So thank you for that. Please pray for me because I need all the help I can get. I also love advice, so that would be nice too. Thanksss!
In Christ,
Maria Faustina

Peace, Maria Faustina! You have much to look forward too in this life, especially if you are pursuing a life of love with Jesus. No matter where it leads, if your life strives to love Him more, your life will be filled with His joy. Our prayers are yours! God love you and Our Lady guide you!

Wonderful! It is beautiful that you are already interested in a vocation at such a young age! I'm a Nashville seminarian - so if Our Lord is really calling you to St. Cecilia's then we'll see plenty of each other. Haha, you ask for advice, and I think that the best thing to do is to remain close to Christ and develop a love relationship with Him. At the beginning of first vows as the sisters are processing in they sing, "Veni, Sponsa Christi" - "Come, Spouse of Christ." It is incredibly beautiful (mostly because the sisters have incredible voices) and it encapsulates the beauty of the vocation. You become the bride of Christ and enter into a romance with Him that is like none other!
Get to know Him better - read the Scriptures and pray before Him in the Blessed Sacrament as often as you can and read the lives of the saints. They beautifully show what it means to accept your vocation - whatever it is - it is to lay down your life for the Beloved. Make sure, though, that you get a good spiritual director to help you through all of this. The saints were never without one, haha, so we shouldn't stray from their example. Pray and learn to love from your whole mind, in your whole heart and in your whole soul Him who created you and you will never go astray. Develop a love for His Mother too! The Dominicans don't lack a devotion to her, and neither did the saints. Mama will never leave you!
Know that you'll be in my prayers and I hope that you'll keep me in your prayers too! Christ cannot deny those who truly love Him and ask with pure hearts!
