Yes, we are quite close. In fact we have a hospital in Rockford.
I am afraid that poor egg doesn't stand much of a chance. The turkey abandoned it under a tree. But we probably would not have found it otherwise.

I like your formation blog--it reminds me of my previous life in Boston. Our ground also had lots of wild turkeys and eggs. Their eggs ended up in one of my roommates' stomach...and all of us just stood there and speechless .
