In England a new contemplative community has been formed to help women to discern their vocations - they have a house women can live in with others for a time of discernment too. They are the Community of Our Lady of Walsingham at http://www.walsinghamcommunity.org/ - sorry but i cant get this to work though that is the address. They give an age range but i found they are open to older women if they seem to 'fit'. pax

smokey.gif There is another English community known as the Sisters of Our Lady of Good Counsel and St.Peter the Apostle, who are also called Vocationist Sisters for they too try to promote vocations. They are mentioned in the book Nun,by Marcella Bernstein, and I believe they wear a green colored habit.
They did have at one time an ad in Catholic Digest magazine back in the 1980s or 1990s and were located in
I think Virginia.Don't know if they are still in the US.
If I get a chance to go down to the San Antonio main public library,I can look them up in the Official Catholic Directory, wish my library had one.
