I must add that the "Behold the Heritage" CD sold by the Nashville Domincan sisters is a beautiful CD. I bought it a few months back and all the songs written and sung by the sisters (either from Nashville or elsewhere) are all beautiful! My favorites "Dominic" and "Behold the Heritage/Consider the Rock".

They're so beautiful! I love the Nashville Dominicans! I love the Corpus Christi procession pictures. I'm hoping *crosses fingers* to be able to go on one of their retreats this year-- maybe a weekend one or something. That would be awesome!

I LOVE the Dominicans!!! They are some of the most amazing people I have ever met! Sister John Thomas, Sister Mary Lucy, Sister Marie Bernadette, and Sister Anna Grace are at the school from which I graduated. Sister Marie Bernadette is leaving though. They are beautiful people!

Father Andrew is giving a morning of recollection? He is one of my favorite priests. SO HOLY! The way he cleans the chalice and patten after Mass, the reverence, wow.

Father Couzzins gave the fall Jesu Caritas retreat there this past year. He indeed is a wonderful priest!

If any of y'all are gonna come into Nashville to see the Sisters or come on a retreat, shoot me a pm! I'd love to meet you over at the Motherhouse, a little phatmass reunion.

We have 3 of these Sisters visiting Australia for the past year getting ready for WYD and they have been Amazing

They each gave a theology on tap talk recently-which is monthly talks held in a pub (how dominican). All the talks are recorded-here is the page for those interested.

Back to topic-the newsletter says that another 17 Sisters are coming here for WYD-can you imagine, if 3 are this good...wow!

I want to visit the Nashville Dominicans too! I won't be able to for several months if not a whole year though. Maybe even the Dominicans of Mary too! By the way, the Dominicans of Mary will be on EWTNs Life on the Rock soon.

They'll be on Life on the Rock on June 12th!!

I was glad to see that the Fall 2007 Newsletter was up (it may have been up for a while but I missed it..not sure)....Page 7 is my favorite. It's a good read about two sisters....both taking the "white veil". I've been invited by the parents of one of the novices to attend her First Profession in July and I'm hoping to be able to go.

Thanks! Somehow, I missed the Fall 2007 newsletter. It really is lovely... but I'm a little biased towards all things Dominican.

Well to be honest, I'm a little biased toward page 7 of that newsletter because I've known both those magnificent women since they were just little ones. I love what they had to say about the other's vocation and how God has (and will continue to) work through both of them to witness to the other.
