The Divine Mercy talks about the wound in Christ's side and it had me thinking. The heart is on the left side not the right am I seeing this wrong? I'm certain that the soldier could have hit the spear on the right side and have gone all the way through, but I just found that funny. It makes little sense in the gospels as well. If someone says go make sure He is dead why would the soldier hit the side opposite of the heart of Jesus? It would seem the guy would have stabbed Jesus on the left instead.

The spear could have gone through the opposite side, through the chest, and then through the heart. God have mercy on us!
