Greetings!
Br. Andre, one of my brother monks and I, were in the Reading Room after Vespers yesterday and were reading the newsletter put out by the seminary at St. Vincent's Archabbey. there was a picturee of a fellow in a white habit with blue hoodless scapular and white shoulder thingie on top of the scapular. On the white shoulder thingie it looked like there was a small representation of the Two Hearts. Do you know what Order that might be. It had us stumped

That's the one! Thanks for the help. I will let Br. Andre know. Oh, and what is that shoulder thingie called? surely there is a more technically correct term for it than "shoulder thingie"

Your 'shoulder thingie' gave me a laugh thankyou Br Dunstan, some call it a guimpe ( pronounced gamp) others just call it a collar - a community i know call it a 'dinner plate collar' though i think thats just their own phrase too, take care, hope all is going well, Pax Sr marie-therese.

I think it would be "guimpe with Two Hearts medallion" or "guimpe with Two Hearts monogram." Passionists call theirs "the Sign."
