Awesome.

Do you know of a Carmel that moved into a former Charterhouse? The nuns live in individual hermitages.

Blessings,

Cool pictures! Thanks, EJames! They are also under the 1990 Constitutions, as they have a little asterisk here, and a "/C" here

...there are a LOT of Carmels of all stripes in the US that need vocations. Ask the cognoscenti on this forum.

There are quite a few of us in Europe - me, VA, and PP are the regulars, but there are some others who don't post much or who have already found their home - who are glad to see European monasteries and convents being publicised. smile.gif PM isn't just an American resource. Perhaps more European discerners will spend time on the phorum if they see more attention being paid to the communities over here.

And there are two other great ones in New York, Buffalo & Brooklyn.

I love seeing different communities from around the world posted about here! We are a universal Church! Most of our monasteries in the US came from Europe. And I'm sure there are several more from Europe and abroad who come here to VS smile.gif

That video was wonderful to see! Thanks again, EJames! Then there's a second part here: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=a_7YUM6bSFw I really love seeing them make the Communion hosts with that machine! The Brooklyn Carmel just recently got one of those machines from France, and the sisters have been learning how to use it.
