Ok, I have decided on the SFO.
For a brief while I was considering Opus Dei for a few reasons. But I do continue to feel drawn to the SFO. The spirituality is strongly appealing, and I think that it is more practical for my life.
I already talked with a local director over the phone. And my grandmother is a SFO, and has been for some time. I feel good about this decision.
Any Secular Franciscans on here? Or any one else look into them? Any turn-offs, or turn-ons about the SFO?
I have encountered, and will encounter my share of both--which I'd be happy to share.

My Confirmation sponsor is an SFO. He absolutely loves it. I don't know how long he's been an SFO, but long enough. He gave me a lot of good-humored flack for not going the SFO route.
