Ave Maria.

I was curious if anyone has visited the community in Baltimore (or any other location), and if so, what were your impressions of it. I cannot seem to find very much information on the web.

Thank you.

I would be interested in this info too. Am sure someone on phatmass must have contacted them before. Thanks for asking..

After reading St. Faustina's diary, I always wondered if the community ever pulled through since I'd never heard about it before.

Sister Rose Therese
I met a couple of them at a vocation fair at Christendom College this past Feb.
If I remeber correctly they have a small number of sisters here and have been working more in retreat work and possibly a nursing home. (My memory is kind of fuzzy on this.) I know at least one of the sisters was Irish. I think they are doing well in Poland though.
They seemed like very nice sisters.

Oh, actually that's the congregation St. Faustina herself was in, but there's this other one called the Congregation of Sisters of Merciful Jesus, which is the one Our Lord asked her to found. I was emailing one of their sisters from Canada a couple years back. I'll have to go see if I can find them. She was saying she had to learn Polish, which was difficult, but she did it with the grace of God, and that the Mother Superior in Poland had said something like, if they get enough American/Canadian Sisters they might be able to open a novitiate in the US or Canada. Again this was a couple years back. Now I see they have an address in Baltimore, so maybe a novitiate house there is in the works. Also I think she said there is/is going to be a contemplative house of sisters. Actually I think she said it was established, but in Poland.

Then also the Sisters of Reparation to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus seem very similar to them.

Perhaps one day some good kind people of Phatmass will visit the Blatimore location and find out for sure. It seems to be a diamond in the rough, considering this congregation is one of the few that Our Lord explicitely ordered its foundation. Even the Rule of life was directed under the guidance of Our Lord.

Blessings.
