Please remember these sisters in your prayers this week, as all three will - on the feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel.

They are Carmelites of the Sacred Heart of Jesus of Los Angeles. As is customary with that order, which has a very thorough and wonderful formation, they received their habits in March, near the end of their second year novitiate, and now they will make their first vows!

Thanks for the post, DameAgnes! I personally think their custom of receiving the habit later in the novitiate after more intensive formation is a good practice.
