I thought maybe as communities started posting their WYD pictures, we could throw them up here?

Here are the Carmelite Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, of Los Angeles - they've posted nearly 150 pics in their slideshow - lots of pics of other communities in attendance, too!

This is my response to the thread in Open Mic

Guys (and gals), you have NO idea how excited this made me to see! I met basically ALL those sisters! There were the Disciples of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and the CFR's, and the Religious sisters of Mercy, and the Nashville Dominicans, and the DSMME's, and the Sisters of Life, and Fransiscans, and the Carmelites.... and I met most of those sisters shown!

Our very own Sr. Mary Michael from the Vocation Station is included in several pictures. I met her too! smile.gif

I'm officially very excited. Again. D.gif

So amazing DTA!

The Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Church attended. I looked to see if they posted pictures yet, but their website is down. I found a picture of them outside after Mass on the juventutem blog.

Look at WYD08.lsp - from the Little Sisters of the Poor. They have pages of pictures/videos/links to the vocations exhibit , the pilgrims who stayed with them, and a special link to all the Osservatore Romano pictures of the Holy Father from beginning to end.
Of great joy: starting on page 232 of the O.R. pictures, are pages and pages of his visit to Mount St. Joseph's, the lsp home near the Randwick Race Course. He stopped there on his way to the Evening Vigil to visit retired Cardinal Clancy and two of his Auxiliaries. The Little Sisters' account of the visit is there, too. Enjoy!
