Please pray for the repose of the soul of our Sister Mary of the Immaculate Heart, OP
who died this morning around 7:45 am. Sister got an infection yesterday afternoon and died from septic shock. May she rest in peace. The funeral will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m.

They had seven nuns, then a PMer joined them, but they seem to be back down to seven nuns again. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.

I was at their web site - http://www.stjudemonastery.org/index.html - and there is no mention of it that I could find. Do they have a blog or something?

I am sorry to hear of this sister's passing. My prayers are that this monastery will see more new vocations soon.
