Hey All-

Although my posts and comments are sporadic, I felt it would be good to let you all of know of my upcoming journey and ask for prayers as well!

So some you may know my fondness of the SSVM's or commonly known as the Las Servidoras del Senor y La Virgen de Matara or The Servants of the Lord and the Virgin of Matara. Well anyways, last summer I was fortunate enough to travel with a friend of mine (who actually entered the order in May) last summer and we were able to return for Christmas as well.

So obviously this order and the children in the orphange in Peru where we worked, have a HUGE spot in my heart. Well, I recently just graduated from CUA in Washington, D.C. and had all intentions of returning to home in Connecticut to pursue another degree.... in nursing. However, my excitement was thinning and there was a feeling of uneasiness about it.

So after a lot of prayer and thought and support from my friends, including sisters from the order, and my mom, i was able to make a decision.

So with that I will be traveling to D.C. in order to say some "see ya laters" to some friends and from there i will go to Argentina, because that is where the order started and they have a lot of works of mercy. Then in mid October, I will travel to Peru amd hang and help out at the orphange till then end of Nov. and then I will go see one of my fellow Alumni from CUA who is opening a clinic for single teenage mothers in L.A.

So there you have it, i need prayers! I have to book my flights, I am just waiting for one of the sisters to get back with me that it is all clear....so just pray for quick communication so i don't have to sell my soul for plane tickets. Also, pray that God will give me the graces to help in any way i can.

WOW!! Have a great time in San Rafael! I was there last summer, and it was one of the most life changing experiences ever! I love the Sisters, and the love that they have for eachother and those they serve.
