Its been an exciting year. The Texas - Texas Tech game a couple of weeks ago was thrilling. Probably the best game I've seen since Boise St. - Oklahoma.
So what are your predictions pham? Who would you like to see in the title game. Personally, I would love to see Texas Tech in the BCS title against either Florida or a rematch against Texas (how exciting that would be!)
I'm hoping Alabama will lose, perhaps to Florida in the SEC title. Though I dont know if that matchup will occur.
Hmm.

I'm hoping O-State goes to a decent bowl game. This wasn't the best year to be competing in the Big 12 South.

Eight arrested at Michigan game
by Tracy Davis | The Ann Arbor News
Saturday November 15, 2008, 5:05 PM
Eight people were arrested today at the University of Michigan's last home football game, according to a university spokeswoman.
Of those, four were minors in possession, two were arrested for assault, one for disorderly conduct and one for sexual assault, said campus police spokeswoman Diane Brown.
In addition, seven people were cited for having alcohol in the stadium, and five others were ejected for a variety of offenses, including alcohol, urinating in public, disorderly conduct and violating stadium rules.
Emergency medical personnel treated 25 people, about one-quarter of which were alcohol-related. Eight people were transported to the University of Michigan emergency room, but none were serious, Brown said.
The announced attendance today was 107,856, Brown said.
...see what happens when you get tens of thousands of fans, football and alcohol all in one place?

would you like to know what i'm excited about in college football? Ball State University in Muncie, IN, (which is where I always thought i would go to college until a couple months ago) is undefeated. This hasn't happened before for them, I don't believe. I'm freaking amazed, especially since their star player got injured so bad while they were playing Indiana University that he will never be able to play football again in his life.

Irish are going to win 9-10 games next year. Just a prediction.
They won't be any better than #10 in the nation, but they'll trend upwards for the next couple of years. That's my gut feeling.

I have to agree. They are young, yet in good hands youth matures.
Though, I still miss the glory years.

LOL that would be something but the BCS is already favoring 1 loss Big 12 and SEC teams over Boise State and Utah. And don't forget.. Alabama is undefeated too
USC would love to see Mizzou win the Big 12, they would probably slide into the title game matched up with ah SEC team (Bama or Florida) barring USC dont lose another one themselves

I did a little more digging and I could be wrong about USC getting into the title game if mizzou (or any big 12 north team) winning the big 12 title..
even though USC is Ranked 6th.. It's Oregon State that its own destiny in the Pac 10 since they have the same confrence (not overall) record as USC and Oregon St. beat USC head to head so... if Oregon State wins the confrence, and a Big 12 North team wins their title game.. the whole thing is flipped upside down, lol. would they let USC in the title game even if they dont win their confrence? I would hope not. this sinereo wouuld bring teams like Boise State, Utah, and Penn St. in the mix to fill that spot.
another screwy thing is only up to 2 teams in a confrence can get BCS bowl bids. so with all of these big 12 teams playing great ball (Texas Tech,Texas, Oklahoma.. at least 1 of them wont see a BCS bowl.
the BCS is complete insanity...
