Hey all, I am a Catholic from Northern Virginia starting a new punk/metal band. Right now it is just 2 guitarists but if there is anyone interested please let me know, we need a drummer, bassist, and vocalist. A vocalist/guitarist is also OK.

Plus we are looking for any other help we can get. if you want to showcase your artistic talents we are sort of thinking having a graphic novel look to our stuff. We have some basic storylines worked out already. it is a science fiction theme revolved around the end of days.

I want a strong Catholic influence in the music however since the other guitarist is non-practicing I don't think he would feel comfortable with it being officially a Catholic/Christian rock band.

Here is just a very very small sample of a more metal influenced riff thsat we are working into a song, but we have a punk influence as well. This is is just one riff played to a a drum loop off of my laptop.
