One day I got up and said to myself "if I'm going to go to university, I might as well look the part!" It's amazing how many people just don't care what they look like around there. I don't stick out, that's for sure. It gives me a bit of a crazy look, which is all good, because I feel a little bit insane. My dad's trying to get me to trim it though.
