Should one that claims or pretends to be a Satanist be allowed on Phatmass? Should constant Blasphemy be allow on Phatmass?

This is not directed to any one person per se, and I understand we as Christians should be understanding of others beliefs but I would like to know we Phatmass a group devoted to the Catholic Faith stands on these issues of Satanists and Blasphemy on a Christian Website.

Well, whether or not you believe he exists, you have to think that a belief system built around a figure who is (avoiding technically nuanced theology here, just for effect) pure evil might be a problem.

I personally think anyone who comes on this forum and continually blasphemes against God and our Faith should be permanently banned. It's one thing to allow others of different Faiths to come on here and discuss our differences, it's another to allow them to continue to insult God and our religion without any signs of true dialogue or that what we discuss is making any sort of difference in their attitudes about Faith.

Yeah, I can remember times when this has happened too. Some people come here with questions and/or objections to Catholicism and want legitimate debate, and I think some tolerance for icky things is appropriate here, but people who are evidently haters, trolls and/or spammers are generally banned.

Yeah but I think we all know what you're getting at. Should Varg be considered a hater/troll and thus be shunned by the community? "Shunned by the community" meaning that his account should be suspended forever.

I'm pretty sure that this thread is a thinly veiled attempt at putting Varg on trial.



If I were still a mod (lul) I'd be inclined to make a scene in this thread. As a non-regulator type person I'm inclined to make some jokes.

In seriousness, this thread stinks imo. Make reports, the mods will edit/warn as needed, after a few naughty things the person in question will be banned. After that they may be banned permanently with dUSt's approval. A lynch mob thread is not cool.

Satanism and Blasphemy is on trail if anything is on trail. God does not tolerate Satanism or Blasphemy nor should we. Satanism and Blasphemy is not a joke, it is not ok, it is not something to accept or to give 'understanding' to, both are a absolute offense to God.

This thread was not made to be a joke, nor should it be made into a joke. It is of a serious nature please treat it as such. Unless christians think Satanism and Blasphemy are jokes.

I agree with LD, this is a silly passive aggressive thread dedicated to one person.

As long as people don't post porn or swear, I have no problems with them. Honestly Varg's sig and avatar didn't do much for me. dUSt set up the site to preach the holy apostolic truth. I doubt he meant "exclusively to those who agree with me". I've generally found that the more obnoxious the taunts, the closer they are to seeing the Truth.
