Oh, I love that video! I'm discerning with the fsp's. I love Sr. Helena and Sr. Margaret Micheal and all the other one's I've been able to correspond with/ meet in person. What is your relationship with them?

They have some other cool videos up. My favorite is Sr. Tracey's vocation story, it caught my attention and got me interested in the Daugthers of St. Paul b/c she was an art student like me!

No relationship with fsps other than shopping but I grew up in Chicagoland and Fr. Thomas is the Pastor of my home parish and greatly influenced me in my career choice.

Did you ever meet a Sr. Michelle? (I can't remember her last name for the life of me. I only know that she was missioned in Chicago in 2004 or so. :duh:

Anyhoo, I met her at a college Catholic conference and she was one of the only young habit-wearing Sisters I saw there. I pretty much credit her joyful witness (and the Holy Spirit, of course :)) ) to the first little vocational seedling planted within me. Loved her!!

Me too. Why don't you start a thread?

Wait... the kitchen they were in looks exactly the same as the one in the Staten Island convent (from what I remember of it at least...). Did they go to both cities or is that just a coincidence??

Hmm good point and while I think that over here is another very funny video from the Daughters. They go to a Carmelite monastery and introduce us to "Our Lady like of the Wheat Fields." among other things. Fr Mitch Pacwa and Fr Groeschel even make an appearance.

The captions in the second video are HILARIOUS!

And the credits at the end -- she thanks "the guinea fowl"!

Oh, and I'm definitely going to check out her blog, which by the way, is called "Hell Burns". Nice!

I've never even met Sr. Helena, but I think I love her! So funny!! Hahahaha!

Our Lady, like, of the Blessed Sacrament (and, like, of the Wheat Fields) -- Pray for us!!!
